Social inclusion

If you would like more information on how I could help you, your child or your school please email stuart@stuartbrooks.co.uk

For years I have worked with young people and adults to help them to overcome difficulties. Through a combination of mentoring, sports coaching, education but most importantly listening,I have seen people make positive changes in their lives.

What is social inclusion?

It is about bringing meaning and purpose to the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and adults.

How does it work?

There a number of ways in which I can help.

  • Mentoring

Working one to one with individuals who need some extra support to overcome the difficulties they may face. This is based on the person's needs but could include helping them with personal issues such as addiction or helping them to find a way of expressing themselves positively through sport and/or other mediums.

  • Sports coaching

As a qualified coach in many sports including rugby, basketball and football I can work with groups of people to help to give them focus and learn new skills.

  • Working with schools

Understanding that pupils who are experiencing difficulties at school or at home many need some extra support to find ways of coping, I can work with small groups or individuals to teach them new strategies to help them to progress in their education and avoid expulsion.
